In the early 80s I was attending Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. My older brother, Bob, fooled around with the guitar. It looked like fun so I gave it a try. The rest is history, as they say.

While I was a student at Arizona State University in Tempe, I went to a small place named Long Wongs. They had entertainment there. In fact, it's where the well-known Gin Blossoms group got their start. One night after reinforcing my courage with a couple of beers, I got up on stage and sang. I ended up getting a job performing a few nights a week. I later sang at the Warehouse, a popular college hangout.

I graduated from Northern Arizona State University (NAU) in Flagstaff with a degree in General Business, majoring in Marketing. While a student at NAU, I sang at a very popular place in downtown Flagstaff called the Mad Italian and also appeared at the Main Street Bar & Grille.

I enjoyed singing more than anything else. So, with the encouragement of my family and friends, it's become my career. What a great job!

I've sung at resorts in Scottsdale and Phoenix and some of the popular tourist havens. Perhaps you've heard ofClick for "All in the Touch" CD information and sound clips them, Rawhide, Reata Pass, Pinnacle Peak Patio, and the Buffalo Chip.  I've also produced two CDs, the latest one was recorded in Nashville [More]. Shortly after I returned from Nashville I wrote an article for a localClick for "All in the Touch" CD information and sound clips magazine describing the experience. [More]  And, I often do special appearances at wedding receptions, parties and events [More].

I appeared  at Greasewood Flat as the regular weekend entertainer for ten years. I'm now regularly at Pinnacle Peak Patio, www.pinnaclepeakpatio.com,  and also on weekend afternoons at Greasewood.

I met my wife, Carrie. On July 18, 2002. We now have two daughters, Sarah and Julia. After Carrie, Sarah, and Julia here are some of my other favorites:

Grand Canyon Adventure

In February, 2003 I hiked to Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon with friends. I enjoyed it so much that I booked the same adventure for the following month for my father and I. As we hiked in on the Kaibab trail (6 1/2 miles) the storm clouds were gathering. That night it rained at Phantom Ranch. At the same time they were getting 15" of snow on the rim. The next morning we hiked out on the Bright Angel trail (9 1/2 miles). To see some great photos that my father took, click on the link below.
